UTHRIVE The Work Located in the Beltline district of downtown Calgary, UTHRIVE is a new full-service multidisciplinary health clinic dedicated to helping clients achieve all of their wellness objectives. In September 2009, owners Shaun and Mandy Marty approached the Market Grade (MG) team to aid in the development of front-end architectural design for their new space. With original drawings and creative input provided by Mandy Marty, MG’s new design encompassed both patient care spaces as well as a state-of-the-art work out facility. In addition to initial concept development, MG worked with the UTHRIVE team during all stages of the process – from construction project management through to brand evolution – working with building consultants and various trades in an ongoing dialogue to make the space come alive. MG paid particular attention to preserving UTHRIVE’s original values throughout and the project, and aimed at promoting their leadership in standard-setting health care. Outcome UTHRIVE officially opened the doors to their new space in January 2010. In addition to their existing services (massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, and physiotherapy), they now have yoga and Pilates classes, along with space for exercise, personal training sessions, and physical rehabilitation. www.uthrive.ca
